Kids for Our Troops is an initiative created by Homes for Our Troops, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing specially adapted homes for our most severely wounded soldiers. Our mission is to engage and empower kids, parents, teachers, students, club leaders, and civic organizations to support our American Heroes at home and overseas.
Through various fundraising activities, awareness campaigns, and volunteer efforts, Kids for Our Troops aims to involve people of all ages in the ongoing mission to serve our wounded veterans. By participating in our programs, kids and adults alike can make a lasting impact on the lives of these brave individuals and their families.
Homes for Our Troops has been building and donating specially adapted custom homes for our injured post-9/11 veterans since 2004. These homes help restore some of the freedom and independence our veterans sacrificed while defending our country and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives.
